The New Year’s Six schedule is set, and odds have been released for every big bowl game in the 2023-2024 bowl season. No. 5 Florida State, after becoming the first undefeated Power 5 conference champion to be left out of the College Football Playoff, will play No. 6 Georgia in the Orange Bowl. The Bulldogs are favored by two touchdowns due to a number of key opt outs and transfers for Florida State, including quarterback Tate Rodemaker, running back Trey Benson and wide receiver Keon Coleman.

No. 23 Liberty is the Group of 5 automatic qualifier after it beat New Mexico State 49-35 in the Conference USA Championship Game on Friday. The Flames finished 13-0 but didn’t play a single Power 5 team. They finished one spot ahead of No. 24 SMU. The Mustangs finished 11-2, and their losses came on the road against TCU and Oklahoma.

No. 10 Penn State will play in its fifth New Year’s Six game as it looks to win its fourth straight New Year’s Six bowl. It takes on No. 11 Ole Miss, which will play in its second New Year’s Six bowl under Lane Kiffin, in the Peach Bowl.

No. 9 Missouri will play in its first New Year’s Six bowl against No. 7 Ohio State in the Cotton Bowl. It’s unlikely that Marvin Harrison Jr. will play in this game and with prominent Buckeyes in the transfer portal, OSU has gone from a touchdown favorite to a underdog and now back to being a small favorite. Ohio State’s only loss this season came against Michigan while Missouri lost to Georgia and LSU.
